Why I am Running for the 2025 Board of Directors:

I am committed to integrity, and dedicated to serving the best interests of all our members, not just a select few.   My tenure on the current Board of Directors has revealed very concerning behaviors by a quorum of directors for personal gain, which threatens the quality of life in Glen Oak Hills. I will address these issues to ensure our community thrives. Director Walker’s and my vision was sidelined. It was our intent to bring back the neighborhood watch, welcome committee, and create more gatherings/activities for members to participate in, if they wish to.

Key Issues Needing Immediate Attention:

  • Failure of Leadership: Halt the hostile actions of a quorum of directors towards other directors/homeowners, which has created a toxic environment. We must restore sound business judgment to the Board. I will continue to vote ‘No’ for any personal agenda.

  • Finances: Reestablish financial stability for Glen Oak Hills. Money is being wasted for personal gain, despite my ‘No’ vote.

  • Transparency: End the secrecy and censorship by a quorum of directors. Bring back open discussions and voting in front of our members. Numerous closed-to-the-members’ sessions have occurred, despite my and Director Walker’s opposition. We have also been excluded from some meetings, discussion, denied access to historical records, and access codes when we requested.

  • Fiduciary Duty: Address the failure of a quorum of directors to fulfill their fiduciary duties, as they pursue their own personal agendas, showing favoritism, ultimately leading to poor business judgment, and the misuse of your assessment monies.  Our CC&R’s are not being uniformly enforced. Despite my recommendation, the STR policy is not being enforced and other pressing issues/concerns are being ignored.

  • Park Gate/Fencing: Destruction of park fencing based on false complaints, and not pursuing other choices given per the county The recent and unwarranted removal of fencing (costing approximately $20,000) has led to property damage by non-members. This increases our injury liability risk, and increases wear and tear, by allowing the public to use our playground, park, and parking area.

  • Short Term Rentals (STRs): I oppose the agenda by a quorum of directors, who are spending thousands of your assessment dollars towards attorney fees, in their attempt to circumvent or annul our legitimate short-term-rental amendment. They choose to ignore the fact that in 2022, 74% of the voting Glen Oak Hills homeowners, voted to stop the takeover of our community by out-of-town investors. They want to remove the GOH STR rules and regulations, and allow STR guests to use our common areas (hence removing the park fence).

I am passionate and confident in my ability to serve our community effectively. I believe in the power of community involvement and collaboration. Together, we can address the pressing issues, restore trust, and ensure that Glen Oak Hills remains a wonderful place to live for ALL of its members.   Your support and vote in the upcoming election are crucial for making positive changes in Glen Oak Hills.

Thank you for your consideration.
