Why I’m Running for the Board:
I am committed for the well-being of our community, and it is with this commitment that I seek to return to the GlenOak Hills Board of Directors. Recent actions taken by the current Board have raised serious concerns, and I believe that my experience and dedication can help restore normal order.
Among the issues that need immediate attention:
Management Turnover: The association has been dismissed by two management companies within just six months, a clear indication of underlying issues that need to be addressed.
Excessive Executive Meetings: There has been an alarming increase in executive meetings where decisions that should be made in open sessions have been made behind closed doors, undermining transparency.
Financial Opacity: Recent Board meetings have seen a troubling lack of financial data discussion, leaving members in the dark about our association’s financial health.
Meeting Discipline: The lack of order in meetings has led to essential association business being neglected.
It is essential that we restore an environment in Board meetings where members can be heard, and where the Board can efficiently and professionally conduct the association’s business. This is not just about maintaining order; it’s about ensuring that our community is run in a transparent, responsive, and effective manner.
I bring to the table extensive experience, not just from my previous terms on the GlenOak Hills HOA Board, but also from my service on the Riverside County Civil Grand Jury. My thorough grasp of the Davis-Stirling Act, combined with my background in public service and corporate management, equips me to ensure that our association operates smoothly and meets the needs of all its members.
With your support, I am confident that we can bring about the changes necessary to restore trust and effectiveness to our HOA.
